Description
There’s only one small difference between the two types of pillowcases – Plain pillowcases have a sewn edge, which fits neatly around the pillow,
whilst Oxford pillowcases have a fabric border around the edge. It’s as simple as that!
The term satin stitch derives its name from its similarity to the shiny appearance of satin cloth, especially when a floss silk or a mercerised cotton thread is used for the embroidery.
What does Plain, Oxford and Oxford Satin Stitch mean?
Plain refers to the design and not the fabric. There will be no oxford cuff or satin stitch. This is for pillow cases and duvet covers.
